A legacy of experience and evolution

Fondation

The origins of the MS Group date back to 1953, with the founding of Schneider Déménagements SA by Marcel Schneider in Switzerland, thereby laying a solid foundation in the moving services sector.

1953

Group identity

The name "M. Schneider Group" is introduced, marking the beginning of a structured group approach.

1955

Strategic transition

The company is entering a new phase following a change of ownership. MS Move Management was established to meet growing international demand and handle the increase in international mobility volumes.

2002

Expansion of services

The acquisition of SwissHelp Pet Relocation strengthens the group’s integrated support services offering.

2008

Our means of transport

At Balestrafic, we pave the way for a smooth move. Our expertise in stress-free relocation is due in no small part to our transport specialists. Whether by road, rail, sea, or air, we excel at transporting furniture and offer comprehensive solutions as a transport and moving company.

By air

Air transport is the most suitable mode of transport for all small shipments that need to be transported quickly to their destinations.

By sea

For international moves, shipping containers are loaded onto a railcar by Balestrafic before being transported to a European port, where they will set sail for other continents.

By rail

Balestrafic also operates a rail-to-road transshipment platform at its warehouse in central Geneva. This enables the company to carry out international moves by rail, as well as to receive goods for subsequent distribution throughout the French-speaking region of Switzerland (Romandie) via Balestrafic Transport.
